The Merrell Tsitsikamma MTB race and trail run was established in 2012 and is prominent event on the local MTB and trail running calendar. It is perfectly situated in Tsitsikamma to draw riders and runners from both the Eastern and Southern Cape.
Offering mountain bikers and trail runners not only a test of skill, but also breath-taking views from rugged cliffs high above the Indian ocean. This is a professionally organised event not only for serious athletes, but also suited for weekend warriors and families looking for a day out together.

Late entries are available at registration for an additional fee of R70 each.
Age Categories per distance
Cycling SA enforces minimum age restrictions based on race distances for all sanctioned MTB events.
To avoid disappointment at registration, please only select a race distance that you are allowed to participate in.
Your age is based on the age you will be on 31 December of that year.
60km: 15 years +
60km E-bikes: 19 years +
40km E-bikes: 19 years +
40km: 14 years +
19km: 8 years +
